We are widely considered to be the premiere manufacturer of refrigerated fresh prepared salads and cabbage roll entrees in Canada. Our facilities are CFIA recognized, are equipped with micro labs, and have been HACCP certified since 1998. Our Ontario manufacturing facility is also federally inspected. In addition, we have received our GFSI Certification via SQF. As a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certified manufacturer we have achieved SQF certification Level 2 in our PEI and Saskatchewan plants while our Kitchener facility carries a Level 3 SQF certification.

Refrigerated Wet Salads – The combination of quality ingredients, famous recipes and manufacturing experience & expertise have allowed us to develop a reputation for consistency and quality in the both branded and private label arenas. Our manufacturing capabilities are flexible enough to allow us to handle small batch custom recipes, while our high speed automated packaging lines provide the needed efficiencies for large scale high volume opportunities. Packaging formats range from 454g to 5kg bulk pails. Product profiles cover core standards like Potato, Coleslaw and Macaroni Salads to specialty products like Gourmet Cheddar Mac and Red Skin Potato with Dill.
Hand Rolled Products – Keybrand Foods is the largest manufacturer of Cabbage Rolls in Canada. As Canada’s Favourite cabbage roll we’re doing something right! Our product & process replicates that of a traditional, homemade, hand rolled cabbage roll. Using fresh cabbage & boiling the leaves prior to rolling vs. using frozen leaves, and using a blend of 50% beef & 50% rice for the filling are just a few of the things that separate our product from the competition. Other unique and high quality hand rolled/handmade products include stuffed peppers and pizza wraps.
We also manufacture a traditional pastry products like Melton Mowbray Pies and home-style entrees like Shepherd’s Pie.
In addition to our ‘core’ capabilities we pride ourselves on having the flexibility in our operation to custom tailor products & process to meet to your exacting needs and specifications. We sell to the majority of Canada’s Retailers and Foodservice Distributors.
